We're in the Red Zone -- One Final Push Could Make the Difference
We're close. Like, really close.
The politicians in Washington (yeah, those champions of justice...) are finally taking real action to block the federal hemp ban, and we finally have more than just a fighting chance.
But I need you to make one phone call TODAY.
Here's the deal:
The Senate is meeting RIGHT NOW to debate the Continuing Resolution – the bill that keeps the government's lights on past September 30th.
And we have friendly Senators on BOTH sides of the aisle ready to add hemp extension language into that bill.
That extension pushes back the November 12th prohibition deadline...
So that the new bill to regulate hemp (instead of banning it) has time to pass.
This is the play, cousin. This is how we win.
But it only works if senators hear from their constituents TODAY.
Here's exactly what I need you to do:
That's the Senate switchboard. Ask to be connected to your senators.
When you reach their office, just say something like:
"As the Senate debates the Continuing Resolution, please make sure it includes language to extend the current hemp deadline past November 12th, and support the Lawful Hemp Protection act. Responsible small businesses across this country, that employ hundreds of thousands of Americans, will shut down without it.
“Adult consumers should have the right to make their own choices when it comes to hemp products and this legislation provides lasting protection for American children and American jobs."
Then hang up and call again and leave the same message for the next senator.
I guess that's technically two calls, but it still takes 5 minutes total. But it could change everything.
